City of Fresno

Description

The City of Fresno is the largest and most populated city in Fresno County and has substantial ITS elements. The City of Fresno owns and operates its own traffic management system, and other elements contributing to the Fresno County Regional ITS Architecture. Additionally, the City of Fresno owns and operates the county's largest public transportation system and two airports. The City of Fresno is one of the fastest growing cities in California. With a population of over 515,609, Fresno is now the State’s sixth largest city. Centrally located, Fresno is the financial, industrial, trade, and commercial capital in the Central San Joaquin Valley.
