Descripton
Caltrans D6 Safety Monitoring Device provides warnings to maintenance and constructions crews of potential safety hazards when vehicles cross into work zones. This technology will focus on reducing incidents involving the traveling public and maintenance and construction crews. This technology monitors the roadway, but is not an on-board device and does not provide any "connected" vehicle functions.
